MassMutual's Retirement Services, a unit of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance, has hired Marina Narganes as its new sales director.
Narganes will be based in the New York, and will report to MassMutual's Retirement Services Division market sales manager Shefali desai.
Narganes will work in partnership with managing director Jason Carlough to increase the company's support for the under $10m retirement plan business across New York City, Westchester and Rockland Counties, Long Island and Northern New Jersey.
Narganes said: "MassMutual's stellar reputation in the retirement industry is supported by unparalleled service, best-in-class tools and financial strength. I look forward to contributing to another record sales year for MassMutual."
Desai said Narganes will quickly start contributing to the team, due to her industry experience and strong background in the Metro New York City market.
"Our retirement services business continues to experience exceptional growth. We will continue to grow our sales and relationship management organizations to ensure exceptional support in all the markets we serve," Desai added.
Narganes worked with John Hancock Life Insurance Company for seven years, and most recently served as its regional vice president for New York, Northern New Jersey and Puerto Rico regions.
